DAy 1 - Welcome to MADRID You will be met by a representative of our company upon your arrival in Barajas International Airport as you step off the plane and will be transported by Van to the Hotel de Las Letras located in the select district of La Gran Via, in Madrid City Centre. Your accommodations will be in standard single occupancy rooms with a double size bed or double occupancy rooms with two twin beds; with a private bathroom with hot water, Cable Plasma TV, mini bar, safety box, nicely decorated and with free wireless internet access.

The Hotel de Las Letras is located in an historic building which was fully remodeled in 2005 and it is considered one of the best choices for accommodations in Madrid. Some of the amenities offered by the hotel are: an international cuisine restaurant, a lounge and bar located at the top of the building where you’ll enjoy views of the city, a fully equipped gym, a reading room, meeting rooms, and more.
After check-in, you will have the rest of day at your leisure to relax and enjoy the Hotel’s amenities, or explore the surrounding area.

DAY 2 – MADRID (B) After breakfast, you will join a guided tour of the city of Madrid. You’ll visit some of the best landmarks in the city such as The Museo del Prado, the Royal botanical garden, The Cibeles square, The Alcala Gate, the Crystal Palace at the Parque del Retiro. We also will visit The Royal Palace, The Cathedral of Almudena, and the Sabatini gardens.

This is going be a very educating tour in one of the most beautiful cities in the world where you’ll also learn about the history and artistic richness of this Royal European city (This is a 4 hour walking tour. Pick Up time at hotel’s lobby is at 9:30 am)
After the tour, the rest of the day is at your leisure for relaxing and making use of the hotel amenities.

This evening, you will join a 4 hour guided tour in Chueca, the Gay district in Madrid. Your professional tour guide will bring you to the hottest clubs in town. He is familiar with all the venues in Chueca district, so he will take you to where the hottest nightlife takes place. (Pick-up time at the hotel is at: 9 pm)

DAY 3 – BARCELONA (B) After breakfast, you will be transported to the Atocha station to take a train to Barcelona (this is a 3 hour ride aboard a High speed train called AVE. Pick-up time at the hotel is at 9:30 am. The train departs at 11 am)
On your arrival in Barcelona, you’ll be met by a representative of our agency and will be transported by deluxe van to the Hotel Axel which is located in the Gay district and a short walking distance to some of the best landmarks of the city such as The Catalunya Square, The Ramblas street, the Barcelona Cathedral and the Holy Family Basilica. Your accommodations here are provided in standard single occupancy rooms with a king size bed or double occupancy rooms with two twin beds and a private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, mini bar, Cable Plasma TV, video on demand service, nice decoration and free wireless internet access.

DAY 4 – BARCELONA (B) After breakfast, you will join a guided tour in the city of Barcelona. You’ll visit the Holy Family Basilica – a church that has been under construction for over 100 years and it is the main landmark in the city. You’ll be speechless when you stand in front of this marvel of modern architecture.

Then we will visit the Paseo de Gracia, the Catalunya square, Rambla street and will enjoy the 19th century modern architecture common in this area of the city, with buildings such as la Pedrera, la Casa Batlló, la Casa Amatller, la Casa Lleó i Morera, la Casa Pia Batlló, the Coliseum Theater and la Casa Rocamora. Also included is a visit to the majestic Barcelona Cathedral, El Paseo del Born and other popular attractions in the City’s Gothic neighborhood which it is located in the oldest district of the city. This is an area with over 2,000 years of history and is an important cultural legacy to the city.
This tour begins at 9 am, departing from the lobby of the Hotel Axel and ending about 1:30 pm in a restaurant located near your hotel. You can have lunch on your own in this restaurant or another restaurant in the area.

DAY 5 – SITGES (B) At 10 a.m. – after breakfast - you will be transported to the popular beach town of SITGES located a 35 minute ride by train from the center of Barcelona (We’ll leave from the Hotel Axel to the Sants train station at 9:15 am)
At Sitges you will find some of the best gay and nudist beaches Spain and the whole Mediterranean area offers, with picturesque streets, and a very active gay district with lots of bars and restaurants, strip clubs and more.

On your arrival at Sitges, you will check in at Hotel El Cid which is located in the city center, a short walking distance from/to the main beach of Sitges. After check-in, your Tour guide will provide a walking tour in the city center showing some of the buildings and other attractions the city offers including a visit to the church of Saint Bartholomew and Saint Tecla, the Romanic Museum and the Casa Bacardi, the place where the famous Bacardi Rum is manufactured, stored in barrels and then bottled for export. He will also provide full details on the best gay places to visit while you are in town. DAY 6 – SITGES (B) After breakfast, you will have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the hotel’s amenities or explore the gay and nudist beaches of Sitges at your leisure.
SITGES is the most popular gay destination in Spain, offering over 300 days of sun and warm weather a year. The average temperature ranges from 79 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit during the Summer months (from July to the end of September). Sitges has been renowned as a bohemian hang-out and artist’s colony since the early nineteen hundreds. And continues it’s long-standing gay appeal.
Renowned painters such as Picasso, Dali or Miro. And writers such as Tennessee Williams and Douglas Fairbanks used to vacation at Sitges. Many of their works are displayed in some of the city’s finest art galleries and museums.
The town also boasts some stunning Cuban-style colonial architecture (built on the wealth of the sugar trade). There are many grand neo-classical Catalan mansions here with magnificent carved timber doors, hand-painted ceramic tile murals, and intricate wrought iron balconies, door lanterns and window grilles.
The first gay disco in Spain was opened in Sitges in the mid 80s and it keeps on rocking today. A short walking distance from your hotel is the gay beach and two nudist beaches, 450 shops, twenty gay bars, dozens of cafes, and amazing restaurants and two night clubs that rock till 6:00 am. The population of the Sitges resort swells from 30,000 locals to 250,000 during peak season (from late April to mid-October).
The city also organizes some of the best gay events in Spain. From Carnival which is a 4 day outdoor party in the last week of February, to the Gay Pride which is normally in mid June this town knows how to party. There is a special party somewhere almost every weekend in Sitges. And during the summer months, every day is the weekend. There are gay beach parties at the Atlantida disco every Tuesday night during the summer months, the Bears week in September and the renowned Sitges Film Festival in early October which attracts the international jet-set with Hollywood actors mingling with locals for the entire two weeks.
Throughout the summer, there is a series of concerts, live jazz sessions, and outdoor spectaculars featuring famous Spanish and International artists.
Sitges also offers lots to do and see during the daytime. There is sun bathing on the gay or nudist beaches. You can sip a cocktail or drink a beer at any of the gay bars, discos or strip clubs, relax in a sauna or just admire the thousands of people coming from all over Europe to the beaches of Sitges.
For this evening, we have included a guided tour to the best gay venues in town. We’ll visit some bars and discos, have a drink and enjoy the gay nightlife of the city (Pick-up time at the hotel is at 9 pm)

DAY 7 – SITGES (B) After breakfast, you will have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the hotel’s amenities or explore the gay and nudist beaches of Sitges at your leisure.

DAY 8 - RETURN HOME (B) At 8 am, after breakfast, you’ll take a train back to Barcelona (We’ll leave from the Hotel El Cid to the Sitges train station at 7:30 am)
On your arrival at Barcelona, about 8:40 am, you will be transported to the El Prat airport for your return flight (This is a 25 minute ride by deluxe van)
